ROYCE Prosecco glasses 230 ml
This sparkling wine glass is equipped with a nucleation point designed to enhance both the visual and tasting experience of sparkling wines. The nucleation point is a finely roughened spot, typically located in the center of the base of the glass. Its function is exclusive to sparkling wines; in still wines, the nucleation point has no effect.
The nucleation point attracts carbon dioxide contained in sparkling beverages and directs the release of bubbles to a single location. This prevents random bubbling throughout the bowl and creates elegant, fine streams of bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass to the surface. The result is a visually striking effect that highlights the refinement of prosecco, sparkling wine, or champagne served in premium glassware.
